CHEST 2025 Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Fellows Course

CHEST is offering a full-day, invite-only, in-person Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine (PCCM) Fellows Course at the CHEST Annual Meeting 2025 in Chicago on Saturday, October 18.
This hands-on educational experience is designed for fellows ready to deepen their expertise through interactive, lecture-free, evidence-based learning. Led by expert CHEST educators, this simulation- and case-based course focuses on advanced clinical skills, including:
- Advanced Airway Rescue
- Bronchoscopic Control of Bleeding
- ECMO for Acute Respiratory Failure
- Mechanical Ventilation: Clinical Problem-Solving
- Advanced Echocardiography for Critical Care
- Management of Hypercapnic Respiratory Failure (outpatient and transitional care)
- Pulmonary Artery Catheter Waveform Interpretation
This is a valuable opportunity for a fellow in your program to gain hands-on training in high-impact areas of pulmonology and critical care medicine.
Course Enrollment Includes:
- Complimentary registration to CHEST 2025
- A $400 travel stipend provided to the fellow after completion of their post-course survey
- Two nights of hotel accommodations (October 17 to 18) at a CHEST-designated hotel
- Continental breakfast and lunch during the course
Nomination Guidelines
- Priority will be given to one fellow per program to ensure broad participation.
- Second-year fellows are the primary audience, but nominations are welcome from fellows at any stage who have a strong foundation in PCCM.
- Please do not nominate fellows who have previously attended a CHEST fellows course.
- Submitting a nomination does not guarantee acceptance.
- Accepted fellows must be CHEST members. Any fellows accepted that aren’t CHEST members must become members prior to RSVP confirmation.
